I have managed to find quite a big block of Snakewood, I have cut into 25-28mm slices. The blocks have not yielded any of the traditional figuring.

However the grain that is showing in my opinion is beautiful and compares with Desert Ironwood, rich and golden brown with darker streaks and has good weight.
